Full Time Paralegal - Atlanta, GA
Rapidly growing law firm located in the Atlanta Area is looking for a FT Paralegal to join their Law Enforcement and Safety team. This is a great atmosphere office that is respectful, and business casual. There is also a commitment to work/life balance and reasonable work hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Correspond with client, staff and other professionals via phone, email and letters
Track important case deadlines
Assist in collecting case information such as employment, internal affairs investigations and other records
Schedule depositions and court reporters
Generate correspondence to numerous agencies and POST on a regular basis
Open client files
Update client lists and client files
Meet with attorney weekly to track progress and next steps on cases
Coordinate meetings for clients, GBI, IA and attorneys
Electronically file cases using Odyssey and Peachcourt; occasionally E-file in Federal Court
Occasional travel to courthouse to obtain necessary documentation for cases
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience as a paralegal in an Administrative Law or Criminal Defense role
Bachelors Degree strongly preferred - Paralegal certificate not required
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Dropbox, and E-filings
Knowledge of criminal procedures, criminal documents and court filings, and client file management
Proficient in the use of the internet and search engines to locate information
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofing
Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency, and ability to work proactively
